"It Can Happen To You" then went on to fulfill the rest of the requirements of the pilot program and took it to various schools around Honolulu. Those included one more Farrington, Maryknoll, Kaimuki, and St. Louis High School performances. The original pilot program came to a close at the Diamond Head American Red Cross, where the cast did the last show of the season. This would be the last show the original cast members would do, as Rachel graduated from the University of Hawai'i and moved out of state, and Kris took a full-time job in Liberty House's Advertising Department.
The following school year, the show continued to take steps foward as Karen auditioned new actors and actresses James "Kimo" Bright, Squire Coldwell, Naomi Gallant, and Michelle Rabago, and Jeni Kido to tour the high schools. Along with the various school performances they did at different high schools, the cast and crew also did two public performances at St. Louis High School's Mamiya Theatre and a taping for Olelo's public access channels. During the summer of 1999, KPHC also recieved a grant to take the show to neighbor island schools, on a West Coast tour, and to develop a training course for other organizations.
In it's third year, cast members Stephanie Sanchez, Nara Springer, and Elitei Tatafu Jr joined the cast for yet another school year, which included the show's first Neighbor Island show to Kona, Hawaii.
Moving into it's fourth year of existence, "It Can Happen To You" has been met with tons of great response from students and teachers alike. The show has reached out to many, and the cast and crew hope to reach out to many more in the years to come.
