Birth Control
There are many birth control methods that people can choose if they are sexually
active. Be sure to ask your heath care provider about the side effects caused
by each birth control method.
Other Facts about birth control:
- Each year, about 89 out of every 100 women who use NO birth control and
are sexually active get pregnant.
- You can make any of these methods more effective by:
- Making sure you use the method correctly every time you have intercourse.
- Using 2 methods together, for example the pil and condom, etc. Condoms
are highly recommended for use along with another method because they
can help prevent the transmission of AIDS and other STD's. Male and
female condoms, however, are NOT to be used together as the friction
from rubbing together could cause holes, leaks, and tears in the condoms.
